CHRIS PRESSON

Chris just completed his time as President and CEO of the Edmonton Elks of the Canadian Football League (CFL) where he lead the organization through its transition to a new team name/mascot and brand identity. He has also served as president of the NBA D-Leagues' Northern Arizona Suns and was in charge of all business operations for the team, something he is quite familiar with in doing, as he maintained his position as president of the Arena Football League's Arizona Rattlers at the same time. He was the general manager of the Arizona Sundogs of the Central Hockey League from 2011-2014.

 

He was just named the 2016 Arena Foot­ball League Executive of the Year and also is a two-time Central Hockey League Executive of the Year. He has spent over 20 years in the sports management field. Chris was also a CHL Soul of Service Award winner, and was a board member for the Boys and Girls Club and the YMCA.

 

He graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism in 1992. Chris has been married to his wife Tracy for more than 20 years, and they have three daughters together.
